What the Lord is telling me

Have someone ever said something to you to hurt your feelings, or maybe at some point in your life, you said something to someone and that person’s feelings was hurt.

Sometimes people say things that are not nice, maybe the person intentionally wanted to hurt your feelings.

I believe that people don’t always know that your feelings are being hurt. You might ask yourself, does that person like me? What have I done wrong?

Right now, God is telling me that we should be cautious how we speak to others, especially our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Take time to think before you speak.

Do not be judgmental

According to the Bible, we should be careful of idle and evil conversation.

God said, "Do not be insultive."

(Matthew 12: 35-37) "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall come give account thereof in the Day of Judgment.

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."

It is written in the bible that God is love. We should not keep hate in our hearts, if there is hate in our hearts, the Holy Spirit cannot operate in us.

God is Love

(John 13:34)

Tells us that we should love one another as Christ loved us, and if we always live in love, then it will be less likely that we will hurt the feelings of others.

(Mark 12:28-34).

"And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, HEAR O ISRAEL;THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD.

AND THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND, AND WITH ALL THY STRENGTH: this is the first commandment.

And the second is like namely this, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. There is none other commandment greater than these.

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question."

God loves his people. He wants the best for all of us. God is not a respecter of persons. For everyone that love one another is born of God.

(1 Peter 1: 17)

"And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:"

(Matthew 7:26)

"Everyone who hears Gods words and does it not, is like the foolish man who builds his house upon sand," and when the rain comes down, the foolish man’s house washes away.

We must build our house upon Christ who is the rock of our salvation.
